Nanni Moretti, Renato Carpentieri.
Moretti takes an acerbic look at modern Italian life both at home in Rome and travelling to the Aeolian islands (Salinas has been kidnapped by children!) Ends on a quite upsetting episode involving the director's own health and becomes a serious and sly indictment of the medical profession.
Q picked it up in a shop on a complete whim and it turned out to be a most rewarding experience. The best bits: attack on film critic; effect of TV on his friend; that he was OK!
