The Long Firm (2004 Billie Eltringham)

Adapted by Joe Penhall from Jake Arnott's book into four episodes for BBC, a well overdue rewatch for the first time in nine years.

Mark Strong is charismatic as sixties London gangster, ensnaring Derek Jacobi, Lena Headey, Joe Absolom, Phil Daniels, Judy Parfitt and George Costigan.

Most interesting credits: shot by Sean The Place Beyond the Pines Bobbitt, and edited by Paul Tothill, who after this moved into features and edited most of Joe Wright's films.
