Challenge to Lassie (1949 Richard Thorpe)
William Ludwig has taken Eleanor Atkinson's book 'Greyfriars Bobby' and mixed in a rough collie and a bit of Lassie Come Home. Dog won't leave graveside of former master Donald Crisp, and runs into trouble with the law. With Edmund Gwenn, Geraldine Brooks, Reginald Owen (sergeant), Alan Webb, Henry Stephenson and Sara Allgood.
