Um. Gemma Jones. (Who at one point has the 'Mrs Jones' song playing over her. There are many songs in the soundtrack. Many.)
Yes. Gemma Jones. She's rather good. I'm glad she's still working - we just saw her in Disclaimer, and before that the Steve Coogan Jimmy Saville thing (as his mother, a thankless role), The Reckoning, and Wicked Little Letters. But she has in fact steadily been working since 1962, her first hit possibly The Duchess of Duke Street in 1976-7.
She's very good here as Bridget's narcissistic and self-obsessed mother.
