Foyle encounters the SOE - and despite the warnings of Hilda Pierce (Ellie Haddington) he proves to outwit the head of the department, an over-confident Samuel West. ("You know, Mr Foyle, it occurs to me that you'd fit in rather well here.") With Ronald Pickup, Dave Hill, Raymond Coulthard, Tony Haygarth, Paul Brennan.
Good scene with room full of agents, and one who demonstrates the 'French Drop' - a sleight of hand trick - though that's not what the title is about.
