Most entertaining Disney feature, written by 'The Gordons' (Mildred and Gordon Gordon), based on their book, and Bill Walsh.
Hayley Mills stars. Her cat DC returns from a night prowl wearing a wristwatch - she soon works out it must belong to kidnapped bank teller, who's being kept nearby. FBI man Dean Jones agrees, though her sister Dorothy Provine takes more convincing. With Roddy McDowall, Neville Brand & Frank Gorshin (the robbers), Elsa Lanchester & William Demarest, Tom Lowell ('Canoe'), Grayson Hall, with a cameo from Ed Wynn (also Mary Poppins). Talking of which, the Sherman brothers wrote the theme lyrics.
Well edited, by Cotton Warburton, featuring some great stuff from Syn Cat, and some truly funny moments, e.g. drive-in scene, and Canoe being shut in a garage door.
