A fairly typical Poliakoff piece, featuring nice houses and interesting locations, slightly maddening characters and a deep plot that's darker than you were expecting (the eugenics movement). Clive Owen is a doctor at Charles Dance's academy where Miranda Richardson (and Neil Stuke) work. Robert Stephens is his eccentric father. All acting good.

With Joan Hickson, Mark Strong in small role as copper. Nicely shot by Witold Stok, good music by Michael Gibbs.
