Whilst experiencing the film in an uncomfortable 4x3 crop of whatever VistaVision shape it's supposed to be in, this is an interesting on-location relationship drama involving brink-of-madness Michael Hordern, his son Jon Whiteley and gardener Dirk Bogarde. Takes the assertive stance to voice all the Spanish characters in English accents. From A.J. Cronin's 1950 novel, adapted by John Bryan and Lesley Storm.
