Derived from an article 'Surf Girls of Maui' by Susan Orlean, screenplay by Lizzie Weiss and Stockwell, a not exactly original story, but with spectacular surfing action. I presume the 'pipe' refers to the tunnel created when the wave peaks over itself. Kate Bosworth surely must have had some surfing experience.
