The Sopranos 6 (2006)

Tony is 'Marvin Gayed' by Junior (Marvin Gaye was shot dead by his own father) and conseqently spends two episodes in a most intriguing coma dream, played quite straight this time, in which he has misplaced his identity (he sells energy hardware). The dream climax is sensational as Tony narrowly avoids walking through the 'door' after hearing Meadow calling for him. It was written by Chase and Weiner and directed by Jack Bender.
