Someone Else (2006 Col Spector)

It was a day for watching five years since films. Col's film (co-written with Radha Chakraborty) stems from his 2002 debut short New Year's Eve which we also watched, with Kiera Knightley and Stephen Mangan, who ended up in the feature. In vaguely Woody Allenish territory, he breaks up with long term girlfriend Susan Lynch to be with Lara Belmont, who promptly goes off with someone else. This situation is monitored by married friends Shaun Dingwall and Bridget Fry and single Chris Coghill in North London locations.

It was good. Spector made the similarly low-budget Honeymooner in 2010.
