A Bucket of Blood (1959 Roger Corman & prod)

Eek! Scream! No, that's not the horror, it's the reaction to the from-video quality of the Stax Entertainment DVD release. Written by Charles Griffith over a coffee, film satirises beat types through story of waiter with artistic ambitions who finds success coating dead bodies with clay - quite fun.

Dick Miller is the artist. With Barboura Morris, Antony Carbone, Julian Burton (a Mr. Whiteside-like poet), Ed Nelson. It was shot in five days. Music by Fred Katz.

"He would have called it 'Hanging Man'".
