Written with Marshall Brickman, Oscar-nominated, but it won the BAFTA and for Best Film. In fact we were much more generous, nominating it also for Allen as an actor (wisely judging it's his best performance), and Keaton, Mariel Hemingway and Meryl Streep, Gordon Willis and Susan E. Morse.
Gershwin works perfectly throughout. Noticed several scenes which play silent.
