Oddball film, written by Derek Connolly (who now seems to be a Jurassic World writer), has journalists Audrey Plaza (unhappy), Jake Johnson (New Girl, jaded) and Karan Soni (nerdy) journey to Washington to investigate mad ad seeking partner to time travel with, posted by the weird Mark Duplass, for whom Plaza develops affection. Meanwhile Johnson is there to look up his ex from twenty years ago, Jenica Bergere.
It's about people finding each other, really, though the ending is far out and hilarious.
