Just a brilliantly written and acted film. Note moment when Clooney tears into comatose wife for having affair - then tells off his daughter for doing the same. He's absolutely hopeless with the girls - the suggestion is he wasn't much of a husband or father.

I personally would have preferred deep focus photography. As mentioned before the compositions are great.
One of two films Q decided we should watch - the other, interestingly - is also in Hawaii - Aloha.
