A family on vacation in a very specific 1969. Liev Schreiber, Diane Lane, Anna Paquin, Bobby Boriello and Tovah Feldshuh. Paquin gets her first boyfriend Joe Perrino, whilst Lane's head is turned by Viggo Mortensen.
Rather good; moving; adult. Excellent use of contemporary music. Seduction scene played against moon landing and 'Summertime' memorable. That interesting version of Summertime by Big Brother and the Holding Company, with Janis Joplin on lead vocals.

King Rat was the film I didn't recognise. Dustin Hoffman was one of the producers.
