Ella Maisy Purvis is back, but to her consternation her previous boss is gone and instead we have the extremely rude and antagonistic Jessica Hynes, who we know will warm up to her eventually, it just seems to be overdone, like, why be so hostile?

There's an episode where the killer / kidnapper is a women who's unbalanced by the death of her daughter - but in one scene she spontaneously pulls out a syringe to subdue the wife... how the hell did she come to have that?? Total bollocks. Patience has to deal with a girl who herself is autistic - a nice touch.
