Monkey Business (1952 Howard Hawks)

Hawks' treasure of a film is like watching people experiment with psychedelic drugs. In Ben Hecht / Charles Lederer / Izzy Diamond script (Harry Segall story), researcher Cary Grant (sort of reprising his Bringing Up Baby role) develop a youth potion with the aid of sensationally trained chimpanzees; which affects his wife Ginger Rogers and boss Charles Coburn and secretary Marilyn Monroe.

It's very funny; best moment where Grant steps out of a window (he's very athletic and graceful). Great kids and baby scenes too (the ultimate 'never work with...' film). George Winslow is the scene-stealing kid, who's almost like the junior version of the Weenie King.

Shot by Milton Krasner. 20th Century Fox.
