Cheaper by the Dozen (1950 Walter Lang)

This was the name of the 1948 book written by two of the twelve Gilbreth children about their efficiency expert father and the family adventures. Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy play the parents; Jeanne Crain is the eldest daughter. With Mildred Natwick as a birth control advocate and Sara Allgood the maid. Webb keeps it going.
