Zach Braff's girlfriend Jacinda Barrett is pregnant; they are both happy, as are her parents Tom Wilkinson and Blythe Danner. However, at a wedding of one of his mates, Zach meets a forward young girl, Rachel Bilson (who Q correctly identified from The O.C.) who pursues him despite knowing he's in a relationship. Meanwhile Zach's friends are all falling apart. With a young child, Casey Affleck feels he can't cope any more, Michael Weston can't get over his ex, and Eric Christian Olsen is wasting his life. Then Wilkinson and Danner fall out, she hoping to reunite with ex Harold Ramis...
So yes, it's all going on in Paul Haggis' adaptation of an Italian film L'Ultimo Bacio (2001), written by Gabriele Mucchino. And the resolution(s) are quite interesting. Q spent most of the film shouting at the characters, most of whom are unsympathetic and annoying.
