A quirky, low budget comedy which had me in mind of the mood of Smoke, about a sarcastic pawn shop owner who is presented with a Civil War sword by two gay women which purports to show the South won, a theory which attracts various right wing nutters. Didn't know anyone in it. Marc Maron, Jon Bass, Michaela Watkins, Jillian Bell, Toby Huss, Dan Bakkedahl and Shelton herself as the former junkie. She died in 2020 from leukemia, having directed a variety of stuff including two episodes of the actor's self-titled comedy series Maron, four episodes of Little Fires Everywhere and a couple of episodes of Master of None. She also wrote Your Sister's Sister, with Emily Blunt.
Contrary to my note above, Maron is 'Angry Promoter' in Almost Famous and appears as himself in one episode of Roadies.
