Fabulous story from Cianfrance and Ben Coccio, written by these two and Darius Marder, is a sneaky journey from one story into a second, and then a third, all connected.
Great acting from Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes (they were already friends but this is where their romantic relationship began), Mahershela Ali, Ben Medelsohn (Starred Up, The New World), Bradley Cooper, Rose Byrne, Gabe Fazio, Ray Liotta, Dane DeHaan and Emory Cohen.

Cianfrance has made a 6 part TV series called I Know This Much Is True, with Mark Ruffalo.
