Love On A Bet (1936 Leigh Jason)

Gene Raymond bets his uncle William Collier $15,000 he can start in Central Park in his underwear and no money and get to LA in ten days with a new suit, $100 and a girl. The means of transport and the girl come in the shape of Wendy Barrie (who wasn't going to win any awards) and her aunt Helen Broderick.

Kenneth Earl, P.J. Wolfson and Philip Epstein wrote this original story, which is fun and has a few laughs. Robert De Grasse shot it for RKO.
