Slumdog Millionaire (2008 Danny Boyle)
This review
perfectly holds up. Irrfan Khan died recently, sadly only 53. He's very good as a gradually more sympathetic investigating policeman.
So is the presenter, Anil Kapoor. And special mention to the young Jamal, Ayush Mahesh Kedeker.
It's a kinetic film, brilliantly shot and edited (Anthony Dod Mantle and Chris Dickens both won Oscars) but Boyle does have a tendency to overdo it.
