The Trip to Greece (2020 Michael Winterbottom)

Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan (who's now won seven BAFTAs apparently - actually five) continue to out-impersonate each other across Greece, complicated by Steve's ailing father back home. Many interesting asides about Ancient Greece, frequently hilarious stuff. Highlights include Man Who Would Be King impressions, singing in grotto, Leonard Rossiter,  Coogan's death of Socrates ('Offer up a cock to Asclepius'), Brydon's 'Sale now on at Otterman Empire', and that great Strauss again (Four Last Songs - Sunset)... And Michael Nyman.

Coogan's ability to impersonate a stop-motion dinosaur, and to enact someone badly dubbed, are both quite as remarkable as Brydon's small man in a box.

The episode in which they entertain the girls to lunch - Claire Keelan and Marta Barrio - and become increasingly competitive is actually quite uncomfortable.
