Alan Bennett's plea for the NHS and carers, adapted by Heidi Thomas. Treads its fine line delicately.
Jennifer Saunders so inhabits her role as head of old people's ward you don't even think it's her. Great cast overall, with Bally Gill as caring doctor, Jesse Akele nurse, Louis Ashbourne-Serkis as a trainee. Patients include Judi Dench, Derek Jacobi, Julia McKenzie, David Bradley. Russell Tovey is a visitor from the Department of Health who comes around.
