Original screenplay Giuseppe Tornatore (who directed also the 1990 version with Marcello Mastroianni Stanno Tuttu Bene - also a tour round Italy - NOT SUBTITLED AGAIN!!! Fucking Italians. I hate them.) Must start sub-titling.
I've gone off the whole thing now. Kate Beckinsale's accent is terrific, Drew Barrymore, Sam Rockwell. Starts out as Tokyo Story, but isn't. The way the kids keep appearing is good.
