Reviewed well here. Detective Fred MacMurray lapses into Double Indemnity mode by falling for gangster's moll Kim Novak and planning to keep the crook's dough for himself. Naturally with the Production Code being as it was, that wasn't going to happen. Quine manages it all well.
At the beginning, Kim responding to MacMurray, she ain't half keen... let's say lonely, to be polite.
