Virginia McKenna enacts Violette Szabo in the Vernon Harris / Gilbert adaptation of R.J. Minney's biography. I didn't really buy her - she comes over more like the Head Girl - and as a result the film was a bit disappointing, not as good as Odette (who was an adviser on the film).
