Dick Powell is shown tomorrow's newspaper by John Philliber, which brings him to the attention of the paper's editor George Cleveland, and a fortune teller Linda Darnell and her uncle Jack Oakie. Amusing stuff includes a hold up in the background, Darnell in drag and a 'man' climbing through her window, and an annoyed bookie Edward Brophy.
