Cluny Brown (1946 Ernst Lubitsch)

Jennifer Jones and Charles Boyer absolutely delightful in not-quite Lubitsch's last film, which does sag a little in places, but is generally sublime, well jotted here.

"She should have been dismissed long ago. The handling of the china is.. sinister."

"And what about the master's hunting trophies? I shall never forget the day she dusted the left eye out of Sir Henry's moose."
