Ah, the penny drops. Dark Places. Channel 5 unfortunately chose to show a 16x9 crop of the original Panavision shape, causing uncomfortable cramping - the DVD isn't even released yet.
Max Irons and Stefanie Martini (Prime Suspect 1973) head up starry cast which includes Glenn Close, Christina Hendricks, Terence Stamp, Julian Sands, Amanda Abbington, Honor Kneafsey (Sherlock, Our Zoo).
Julian Fellowes adapted Agatha Christie's 1947 novel. I wasn't really sure what I thought of it. And couldn't identify his distinctive looking car.
