Trapped in Paradise (1994 George Gallo & scr)

Sometimes, there's a reason why we haven't watched a film in six years... Gallo's screenplay is not great and frequently dumb. Also, Dana Carvey character and acting cringey (certain nod to Harpo Marx here) - Q found him funny, though.

Saved though by some of its supporting players (Richard Jenkins et al.), Nic Cage being Nic Cage, and an undeniable PG small-town feel-good factor (which probably has never existed).

With Jon Lovitz, Florence Stanley, Madchen Amick, Donald Moffat, Angela Paton.

Shot by Jack Green, score by Robert Folk.
