Had to mention this hilariously distracting series, the first season co-written with Graham Linehan. Moran is the renegade who's rather not be selling books, Bill Bailey his faithful assistant, Tamsin Greig his oldest friend. All three are great. Some of the situations are hilarious, e.g. Tamsin having to give a company presentation without any idea what it's about, pulls it off with a meaningless diagram and bullshit. Also the Little Book of Calm episode, and the decision to turn the bookshop into a restaurant, triggering the recipe idea 'Twigs fried with honey and donkey in a coffin'.
Dylan: "I fell off my chair, to some extent."
With lots of familiar cameos. From the era when Channel 4 just couldn't stop making brilliant comedies.
This is also the show from which I always remember Sam Kelly singing 'Chatanooga Choo-Choo' in a very funny way,
