Great performances - Stewart, Arthur O'Connell, Eve Arden vs. Ben Gazzara, Lee Remick, George C Scott. At two and a half hours it's a shade too long, and in the end, we don't really know what happened, not even that she was raped, or that her husband didn't beat her up.
