Marple gets it wrong! At least in Stewart Harcourt's adaptation, in which she recounts the story in flashback to Donald Sinden, in order to save an innocent man; originally one of Christie's 'Thirteen Problems' published in 1932.

Good music from the always reliable Dominik Scherrer, DP Peter Greenhalgh. It was filmed in Hambleden, and at Mapledurham Mill.
