Sure-footed and entertaining romantic comedy, exec produced by stars Julia Roberts and George Clooney (with Grant Heslov), written by Parker and Daniel Pipski, set in Bali. The couple - who can't stand one another - travel there to try to prevent their daughter Kaitlyn Weaver from impulsively marrying a local boy Maxime Bouttier.
Nice editing in beer pong sequence (Peter Lambert); direction / editing not too fast or annoying; photography and music both interesting - Ole Bratt Birkeland and Lorne Balfe.
Outtakes reveal it to have been a happy shoot (not a guarantee of a good film by any means).
We both raised eyebrows though over the peculiarly retrogressive line "Men don't wear yoga pants".
