Rare TV film, for people experiencing Michael Kitchen withdrawal. Andrew Davies' screenplay is pretty successful catching British types in holiday camp in Brittany (Cornwall, or somesuch). Jack Shepherd and Zoe Wanamaker are the voices of reason amidst strangely-accented and crazy Miranda Richardson and gun-wielding alcoholic Kitchen, Peter Howitt and Erika Hoffman, Louis Emerick and Liz Whiting. The kids include Katerina Hadjimatheou, Jamie Groves and Sarah Smart (her debut).
