Downey is wonderful. His son plays himself when a magician.
Maltin's two star review. "Lethal Weapon scribe Black seems awfully impressed with himself for repeatedly having the protagonists break away from the story to mock the film's use of narrative and genre clichés." I personally think the way it does this is highly entertaining and clever.
