Based on the novel by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus, both former nannies. It was just what we were in the mood for, a young woman overcoming the difficulties being thrown her way, making the boy like her, dating the hunk from upstairs, lying to her mom, ultimately putting the boy's mother in her place.
Good acting. Scarlett Johansson is the nanny to Nicholas Art, Donna Murphy is her mom. Laura Linney and Paul Giamatti are both excellent as careless parents. With Alicia Keys, Chris Evans, Nate Corddry.
Photographed by Terry Spacey in the Upper East Side, where you need to earn about a million dollars a year just to survive.
