Platform 7 (2023 Geoffrey Sax, writer Paula Milne)

What starts out as ghosts on a railway platform turns into stories of child abuse and a coercive marriage, unexpectedly. Louise Doughty wrote the source novel. Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy) and Phil Davies are the ghosts. Some of the other acting is indifferent. Cast includes Toby Regbo (controlling husband), Yaamin Chowdhury (investigating traffic policeman), Sacha Parkinson (station manager), Reece Ritchie (intense friend), Tabata Cerezo (Wilder, she actually is Spanish! I wouldn't have guessed from her accent), Rhiannon Clements, Aimée Kelly. The other traffic cop's character is so irrelevant he should have simply been written out.

At its most fun when Jobson starts haunting Regbo, and in the developing relationship between cop and station manager.

Nicely shot by Laurent Barès, who amazingly gets an up-front credit. Four 45 minute episodes for ITV.
