A very young Cillian Murphy befriends Rachel McAdams as they board the flight, but it turns out he has a sinister interest in her, and her father Brian Cox may be at risk if she doesn't do what he wants.
Certain characters on the flight - stewardesses, a lady who she lends a book to, an eleven year old and a cartoonist are all set into play like chess pieces. From that point of view it's like every airplane movie since The High and the Mighty.
It's a refreshingly straightforward 75 minute ride.
