Becoming Jane (2007 Julian Jarrold)

Jarrold uses a lot of energy so film feels dynamic. Last seen. James McEvoy and Anne Hathaway are fine, Laurence Fox tetchy, Julie Walters lovable, Maggie Smith cherishable, Anna Maxwell Martin dignified.

A clever script in which many seeds for future ('Pride and Prejudice') are sewn.

Those dances are absurd - you either look like a pantomime horse, of that you're slightly walking about a bit.
