Another script by Katherine Fugate isn't up to Valentine's Day, which isn't in itself that much of a recommendation. Film is fairly dull and humourless and really a bit rubbish. Stories feature Katherine Heigel and Jon Bon Jovi (and Sofia Vergara), Zac Efron and Michelle Pfeiffer (achieving her To Do list), Ashton Kutcher and Lea Michele (stuck in lift), Robert de Niro and Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker and daughter Abigail Breslin, Hilary Swank and Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges (another rapper turner 'actor'), and (of course) Hector Elizondo.
Film is absolutely awash with sponsorship, which might have covered the entire budget.
It seems Garry Marshall has had his day, unfortunately... I dread to think what Mother's Day is going to be like...
