That opening duet - well we know Renée can sing, didn't realise Ewan MacGregor can too.
Eve Ahlert and Dennis Drake's screenplay owes not a little to Sex and the Single Girl, but has nicely risqué suggestiveness. It's a bouncy film, bounced along by wall to wall music (Marc Shaiman).
Sarah Paulson and David Hyde Pierce co-star (with Tony Randall).
Photographed (not in Cinemascope, as claimed, but in Panavision) by Jeff Cronenweth, production design by Andrew Laws.
Bit of a weird coincidence that on the Ed Sullivan show on which Renée is appearing, so is Judy Garland (doubly coincidental we just watched a film directed by her husband).
