Cracker: One Day a Lemming Will Fly (1993 Simon Cellan Jones)

Liked the beginning - man chasing woman through woods - turns out they're playing amorous games.

Everyone is angry in this episode, even Fitz (his wife has had an affair) - it spills out of everyone, including Bilborough, eventually infecting a whole violent crowd.

A teenaged boy has been murdered - Fitz gets it wrong, for once, leaving the crime unsolved in unexpected turn of events.

Frances Tomelty, Tim Healy, Lee Hartney, Christopher Fulford. Missed Amelia Bullmore as Bilborough's wife, though she was under pounds of pregnancy make-up (or she was very pregnant).

Photographed by Ivan Strasburg again, wonderful ambulatory long take in shopping mall; edited by Chris Gill (The Guard, War on Everyone, Calvary, The Forgiven, 28 Days Later, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel).

Amusing scene with medic:

"How much alcohol do you drink a week?"
"Five or six bottles."
"Of wine?"
"Whisky."
"And how many cigarettes?"
"50 to 60."
"Please tell me that's a week."
"A day."
