The Little Shop of Horrors (1960 Roger Corman)

It's not often that a Sunday begins and ends with Roger Corman.

This cult classic from 1960 is hilarious, written by Charles Griffith (many early Cormans included The Creature from the Haunted Sea), a variation of the nebbish idea from A Bucket of Blood.

With Jonathan Haze, Mel Welles, Dick Miller (the flower eater), Jackie Joseph, Myrtle Vail (Griffith's mum), with a funny cameo from Jack Nicholson (as a barking mad dental patient). It was filmed over two days on leftover sets. It wasn't, surprisingly, a big hit.
