Not so much a film as two Alfred Hitchcock Presents episodes stuck together, particularly as the source is stories from Rear Window's Cornell Woolrich aka William Irish, adapted by Alejandro Casona.
Angel Magana, Renée Dumas, Diana de Cordoba, Pedro Fiorito, Orestes Soriani, Percival Murray, Rosa Martin, Arnoldo Chamot and Nicolas Fregues. Ilde Piovano, Norma Gimenez, Luis Otero. DP Pablo Tabernero.
In 'Someone on the Phone' a man comes to the aid of his blackmailed sister, but kills the wrong man. Nicely shot, has elements of Laura to it.
'The Singing Bird Comes Back Home' is about a blind woman and her niece terrorised by her returned son, who's now a murdering criminal.
No difference in style really to an American film; in fact, made in Argentina.
