Didn't really follow Kevin Elyot's adaptation of Agatha's 1942 novel, which is devilishly clever.
Enjoyable cast: with Geraldine McEwan the fabulous Joanna Lumley, Simon Callow, Jack Davenport, James Fox, Ben Miller, Tara Fitzgerald, Ian Richardson, Florence Hoath, Emma Cooke, Mary Stockley, Emma Williams, David Walliams.
Became mildly obsessed by how the string players in the Grand Hotel's dining room were always perfectly on the beat, like they recorded them live behind each take.
