Somewhat predictable - though that is perhaps another way of saying I watch way too many films - Hollywood fluff about an architect who falls for an Irish girl who's the recipient of his ex's heart. Cue dogs, gorillas and nice old gentlemen. David Duchovny and Minnie Driver are the couple. Very enjoyable, though.
Written by Bonnie Hunt & Don Lake and Andrew Stern & Samantha Goodman. Hunt was Renee Zellweger's disapproving sister in Jerry Maguire - she's the best friend in this, married to James Belushi with five kids. She also co-wrote and starred in and directed Let Go in 2006 (sadly unavailable).
With Carroll O'Connor, Robert Loggia, David Alan Grier, Joely Richardson, Marianne Mullerleile, Holly Wortell great as horrible date for Duchovny.
Shot by Laszlo Kovacs.
